Blog Awards

I got nominated for 2 blog awards a few weeks ago. I’m finally getting around to posting them! I really appreciate the recognition. I’m not going to follow the recommended awards to give (15), mostly because I am so exhausted and there are too many good blogs to choose from! If I picked you for either award, share 7 interesting facts about yourself then pass along the award to bloggers whose blogs you enjoy reading.

Velle awarded me the Super Sweet Blog Award, check out her site here. I love reading her posts about raising her adorable little girl.

In light of all that you’re going through, it therefore seems rather superficial to tell you that I had just awarded you the Super Sweet Blog Award. Partly because I think your journey is worth reading and sharing in, but mostly because I’m struck by how sunny and resilient you’ve chosen to remain despite all pyour health afflictions. So congratulations!

I don’t think it is superficial at all. My life is pretty much ruled by POTS, but that doesn’t mean things like someone telling me they love my blog and attitude doesn’t make my day. :) Thank you Velle.

Facts About Me

It’s harder than you’d think to think of random facts to tell you guys…

  • I must shave my legs every other day or I go crazy with how my legs feel against pants and blankets.
  • Sometimes I read textbooks as I go to sleep at night, just for fun.
  • Prior to becoming sick, I was a perfectionist. I even organized my closet by color. I’ve had to give that up. I’m still a perfectionist, I just can’t act on it. :)
  • I don’t eat gluten, dairy, soy, eggs, or animal products.
  • The people in my family closest in age to me are 6 years old and 6 years younger. I was the lone cousin my age. This was okay because my BFF was my Papa.
  • I make a mean martini.
  • I grew up in a small town in central Illinois. I find driving on country roads when the corn is up very soothing.
  • When I get married, my last name will be Cinnamon. What an awesome last name!

I hope everyone has a good weekend!

  1. I’m so stoked that you’ve written your replies. I can’t begin to tell you HOW behind I am on this! URG. Oh and before I forget – I am connected with a girl on Twitter who has POTS too….is your POTS world pretty small (like Cowden’s Syndrome is?) – I wonder if you know her….?

Your turn - what do you think?
